About BooksMatic
BooksMatic is a workplace management system that is designed to keep the information for your customers and internal users in one place.
The Challenge
BooksMatic needed a solution to manage their projects and tasks in one place. With other competing products they realized that integrating with accounting software was a niche that needed to be filled.
Tracking movements throughout the site are a priority, down to the sequence they follow up until booking a demo or filling out a form.
They needed a client and admin dashboard to manage their projects while also maintaing transparency for customers.
Custom modules to integrate some of the most popular accounting software was needed for QuickBooks Online, Xero Accounting, and Sage software.
To make adoption easier for clients and developers they also needed to be approved by Zapier by creating a REST API.
The Solution
We developed a custom CMS using the Laravel PHP framework.
The end result was a SaaS platform that can quickly be replicated for scaling up or down.
An admin dashboard was created for internal users of each SaaS customer and a customer dashboard for their customers.
Custom payment gateways with Authorize.net, PayPal, Stripe, and Braintree were integrated for invoices.
QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Sage were integrated with a two-way sync on customers, invoices, taxes, payments, and chart of accounts.
A sales section was also included among many other features. This was one of our biggest projects in terms of functionality to date.
